Genealogy Road Block

I have always loved history, so genealogy was a natural step. I've found some interesting facts about my family, including a story about part of my family that ran a logging business outside of Bern, Switzerland. I had taken a break, and when I got back into it recently, I found one of my roadblocks that I was able to clear up. I still have one on my great-grandfather's side that I can't seem to clear. So, my 3rd great-grandmother's name was Annetta. I can't find any marriage records, birth records, or anything to help me continue on her family line. I found a possible connection in an 1850 census for Poland, Mahoning, Ohio. There is a person there named Aronetta with a birth year that would fit my relative, but no mention of her anywhere else or why she is with a family that has a different name than hers. I'll keep plugging along, but I'm hoping there is someone out there looking for her too.
